Our Koi Fish ponds are designed and installed with a low maintenance filtration system that you may only need 10 to 15 minutes, once or twice a month.

The cost of Koi pond maintenance and water quality management depends on where the site is located, size, installed filter system, if the water needs to be replaced, and can be higher in large bodies of water.

We have two pond maintenance and water conditioning programs which include many types of pond water tests 1) Standard and 2) Advanced

1) Standard Pond Maintenance ( Cleaning interval will be fixed after the initial site visit)

• Function test of filters and control panel.

• Test the Pond water for its pH level

• Water clarity

• Health Condition of fishes.

• Drain the water down to a safe level

• If it is deemed necessary we will catch the livestock and transfer it to a holding tank (to be provided by the Client )*

• We will then brush clean the pond sidewalls and bottom using a suitable pond brush. (to be provided by the Client )*

• Remove the sludge using a suitable pond Vacuum cleaner or Pumps. This is high in nutrients and is great for the garden.

• All planter boxes will be inspected and plants will be trimmed to a suitable size.

• Filters will be back washed - Condition of Media verified.

• Service the Biofilters by washing the sponge or mesh in some of the pond water, so that the beneficial bacteria are not killed.

• Replace filters/media if damaged. (to be provided by the Client/ will be Charged Extra )**

• Pumps and piping system will be inspected and cleaned if necessary

• Check that pump impeller and fountains are not blocked

• Check Uv Clarifier

• Aerators pre-filters will be cleaned or replaced if fitted with the Same. (Replacement are charged Extra)

• Once the pond is clean we then fill it with clean water and De-chlorinate and then return the fish.

• Final Test the Pond water for its pH level

2) Advanced Pond Maintenance ( Cleaning interval will be fixed after the initial site visit)

• Function test of filters and control panel.

• Inspect the Fishes.

• Test the Pond water for its pH level

• Test For Nitrate, Nitrite, Ammonia

• Test for Kh and Gh

• Test For Phosphorus (* If needed only Charged Extra)

• Test for Dissolved Oxygen levels

• Test for High and low pH

• Water clarity

• Health Condition of fishes.

• Drain the water down to a safe level

• Final Test the Pond water for its pH level
