Waterproofing | Membrane Coatings

Waterproofing | Membrane Coatings can be an important part of this strategy, to ensure a long service life for new structures and also this helps to increase the durability of existing ones.

We are one of the leading companies offering a complete range of structural maintenance and waterproofing services /solutions to our clients from the residential and commercial sectors. Owners and their construction management team should follow an appropriate maintenance strategy to ensure long-lasting durability.

Waterproofing & Protective Coatings

These services include Terrace and roof Waterproofing, Bathroom and toilet Leakage, Wall crack and structural repairs and Damp proofing.

Guarantees are provided for all works undertaken and range from one to six years depending on specifications chosen. We can design our services to suit the individual requirements and budgetary constraints of our clients.

Basement of structure

You can waterproof basement and below-grade parking structures using crystalline waterproofing. The slurry for concrete substrates, it is economical and easy to apply.

Crystalline coatings penetrate deep into the capillary tracts/ shrinkage cracks and seal both positive and negative sides of the concrete structure. It becomes an integral part of the concrete and is equally strong against negative side water pressure.

When in contact with water, concrete forms a reactive layer that enables the structure to self-heal shrinkage cracks. It also protects the basements against waterborne corrosive chemicals that can cause corrosion of reinforcement.

Walls

Plastered surfaces develop cracks due to deterioration of plaster arising out of bad construction practices, inadequate curing, aggressive climatic conditions, etc. Cracks in plasters lead to water seepage. Therefore, apply a high-performance waterproof coating to the exterior wall plasterings to prevent water seepage from the external walls to the building interiors.

Brick walls and structures are subjected to a wide range of exposure conditions. From normal atmospheric carbonation to the aggressive influences of polluted urban or industrial environments, plus marine atmospheres and other chemicals.

Acrylic or polyurethane-based protective coatings can be applied to walls. You can prevent many of these issues and prolong the life of structures by applying protective coatings to walls and masonry structures.

Bathrooms and kitchen

Treat bathrooms and kitchen sink areas with an acrylic polymer-modified cementitious waterproofing coating system or epoxy polyamide membrane/barrier coatings.

You can use these types as seamless, impervious coatings on flat roofs for both exposed and concealed waterproofing needs. You can also effectively use them in water-retaining structures, underground concrete structures, pits, basins, sumps, and so on.

Some of the other advantages of these coatings are good impermeability against water ingress, high water resistance, arrest of saltpetre and prevention of carbonation.

Also, shows extremely good bonding properties with high abrasion resistance.

Balconies, decks

Temperature variations between day and night, winter and summer, or different sides of a structure may affect buildings. These frequent cycles result in thermal stresses and cracks.

Acrylic or polyurethane binders can be considered when the durability of a coating system is important. Waterborne polyurethane coating can give a higher performance in terms of durability than acrylic solvent-based coating. Properties such as sustainability, colour retention, UV light stability and CO² diffusion resistance after accelerated weathering are very impressive.

Terrace or roofs

One of the most important properties of a protective coating on concrete structures is its ability to prevent or reduce the diffusion of carbon dioxide into the exposed concrete. If concrete allows CO² penetration, it reacts with free lime, initiating the natural carbonation process, which gradually progresses inward from the surface. Once it has reached the reinforcements it will start to corrode the steel bars.

If a roof is not waterproofed properly, it will lead to damp patches on the ceiling. In severe cases, water can seep down and this will result in leakages and moisture problems inside the rooms. Failure to protect an unhealthy roof from severe weather conditions in advance can cause damage to the reinforcements, leading to eventual deterioration.

Acrylic waterproofing membranes containing cross-linking polymers suit all types of exposed roof slabs (new and old) and terraces (sloped and flat) best. The special pigments and advanced antifungal additive provide a long-lasting tough waterproofing membrane. The low thermal conductivity of the membrane with special Glass Micro fibres serves as a good insulation medium and resists heat transfer.

Glass fibre meshes can be used to further reinforce the coatings. The long-lasting glossy white colours reflect solar radiation and heat into the atmosphere which keeps the interior of a building cooler.

A coating that combines the benefits of waterproofing, as well as heat reduction in a single product, are available in the market which ensures value for money to customers.

Green roofs

Membrane waterproofing is the best way to pre-treat your roof or terrace before doing any kind of green roof. The membranes can have fibreglass or polyester as reinforcement.

You can also effectively use APP membrane-modified bitumen membranes for waterproofing roofs.

water proofing

Water tanks And Swimming pools

Acrylic polymer modified elastomeric waterproofing membrane coating for water tanks and swimming pools. You can use epoxy pool paint as an alternative, providing a hard, non-porous tile finish that lasts for many years.

It is also easy to clean and withstands chemicals and automatic cleaners. Connect with us to know more.
