Residential Building for Mr K.J.James
This building is situated at South Moolamkuzhi, Kochi. The building has a Plinth area of 1100 Sqft on the ground floor and 925 Sqft on the 1St floor.
KJA & Sons are one of the best and renowned civil building contractors in Kochi, Kerala. We commenced this on 4th January 2016 and completed on 30th July 2016.
Details of Work Done:

The foundation of the building is done with Rcc Raft and Beam over a PCC 1:3:6 15 cm thick over 10 cm thick River sand. The ground level is fixed 15 cm above Road level.

The basement is provided with Random Rubble in cm 1:5, 60cm height from the ground level.

Rcc lintel is provided on the Basements all around for a thickness of 10 cm.

The superstructure is provided with Country burnt bricks in cm 1:6 on the ground and 1st floors.

Plastering is done for walls with cm 1:4, 15cm thick on inside and outside.

Rcc stairs are provided with RCC 1:2:4 with 20 mm broken stone from the drawing-room. Polished Stainless steel handrails are provided for the stairs and balcony area.

Floorings are done with Granite slabs on cm 1:5, 20mm thick over 10 cm thick PCC 1:3:6 with 40 mm broken stones.

The staircase is finished with Black Granite slabs in cm 1:4, 15mm thick with cement slurry. Skirtings are done with vitrified tiles for a height of 10Cm.

Walls inside is finished with 2 coats of interior emulsion over a coat of interior primer with 2 coats of wall putty.

Outside walls are painted with 2 coats of exterior emulsion over a coat of exterior primer.

The compound wall is provided with Country burnt bricks in cm 1:5 and plastered with cm 1:4 15 mm thick. Square Opening is provided with Mild steel RHS. The compound wall is also painted with exterior emulsion 2 coats over a coat of exterior primer.
