Water Tank Leak Proofing | Waterproofing Repair Works
Underground water tanks due to its age and water pressure surrounding it can cause water ingress, which can cause water contamination.
In some cases, water can travel to and from the tank which will lead to significant water loss during summer seasons.
The following is a case study of an underground water tank of 7000 liters capacity, which was profusely leaking and the client had to pay a very high water consumption bill. The water was flowing into the tank during light rains and was leaking as soon as the rain stopped, causing excessive water meter readings.
After using cement plugs and appropriate leak stopping compounds, heavy leaking was successfully stopped.
