Renovation of Y's Men's Club Cochin
This is building is a very old 2 storied building. Since the basements of the building are at a low-level, the building used to flood during monsoon rains and on high tides.
The works commenced on 17 the December 2014 and completed on 11th March 2015.
Details of Work Done:

The ground floor was raised for a thickness of 20 cm with building waste and earth watered and rammed well and laid with plain cement concrete for a thickness of 10 cm.

The ground floor rooms are laid with Vitrified tiles.

Rear and North sides are provided with cement mortar 1:4, 15 mm thick with neat cement flushing coat.

As a result of raising floors, all Doors are dismantled and fixed after demolishing old and lintels and cast new lintels.

Damaged windows are replaced with Aluminium powder coated windows. Door's and windows era painted with 2 coats of enamel paints. Walls inside and outside are painted with 2 coats of emulsion paints.

Compound wall is repaired and new gate pillars are constructed with country burnt bricks in cm 1:6.

New mild steel gate also fabricated and fixed with ms rectangular and square tubes. The gate is also painted with 2 coats of enamel paint over a coat of metal primer.

New toilets were constructed and water supply and sanitary fittings are replaced with Cera make.

Compound wall was also painted with 2 coats of exterior emulsion.
