Both tiles are made from a clay mixture that’s fired in a kiln, but porcelain tile is made from more refined clay and it’s cooked at higher temperatures than ceramic tiles. This makes porcelain more durable than ceramic tile and it has high liquid resistance. Porcelain tiles are known for their low maintenance and durability.Due to differences in the manufacturing process Porcelain tile is also more expensive than ceramic tile.If you’re looking for the best tile flooring options and swimming pool porcelain tiles are likely the best option for you.
