Always purchase your desired pond plants from a reputed nursery. Special notes shall be made on whether the plants are in contact with the fishes or not. Use proper personal protective when you are dealing with chemicals, goggles and gloves is mandatory.

a, In a 20 litres bucket, mix water and potassium permanganate to give sufficient strength.

b, Open the plants packaging and discard the same away from the pond.

c, Place the newly purchase plants in a net.

d, Weight down your nets with rocks.

e, Place the plants in the container, dip the whole plant( stem, roots and leaves) and pot in it for 15 minutes.

It is important to make sure that the entire plant is submerged in a suitable plastic tub or a large container so that the given treatment is effective. If deemed necessary, you may repeat the same process after 3-4 days.
