Building a Koi Pond Close to A Swimming Pool?

One should be cautious of having the pond and swimming pool close to one another.
If you have small children [ or big ] and they run past the pond and dive in the pool, you can get splashing from the one to the other. The pool water always contains chlorine and other chemicals which are harmful to the Koi fishes.
Plus you can make the fish very nervous with all the noise and running.
Since the vibration that travelled underground between the two can make it uncomfortable for the fishes habitat.
