Excess nutrients are the leading causes of Algae bloom in ponds and water gardens in pond water.
  • Overcrowding of Fishes
  • Stagnant water
  • Not enough aeration Or no Aeration.
  • Too much biological load
  • Poor filters installed.
An overgrowth of algae not only looks bad, but it reduces the amount of oxygen in the water. This can lead to fish mortalities during summer.
