Why it is important to run the pumps daily?

If the koi pond pump has not been run for some time the pump may get jammed. If this is suspected a pump technicians assistance may be necessary. Expose the impeller which can then be levered to see if it is jammed. If the impellers are jammed ask a qualified technician for assistance.
