How to install a handrail?

Installing a handrail is an essential step in making stairs safe. The handrail should be attached securely and firmly to the wall. Here are the steps for installing a handrail.

• The bottom of the handrail should be at a comfortable height to make it easier to grasp.
• Mark the location of the handrail on the wall according to the design.
• Spot and Mark the main post location.
• Drill pilot holes in the floor or wall where you marked the location of the safe foothold.
• Fix the main post using suitable anchor grout.
• Mark, drill and fix the corner posts.
• Running the Top rail
• Mark, drill, and install the middle posts.
• Finally the horizontals or the glass work - As per design
