High Alumina Cement HAC or CAC is manufactured from limestone / Chalk and Bauxite.
Since it can withstand high temperatures,HAC is used in construction of refineries, factory or workshops where high temperatures are involved. HAC can be used in construction of sewage structures and it is highly resistant to concentrated acids so it is used in construction of chemical industries.

It is generally not used in mass construction, for the reason it is costly and it emits lots of heat.
