SRC is Sulphate Resisting Cement. This type of cement is used at places where the concrete is in direct contact with soil which has high sulphate content. It is also a prefered cement for mass construction because of its low heat of hydration.
It is also known as Portland Slag Cement (PSC) slag is a blended cement, It is manufactured with less than 5% calcium aluminate to withstand Sulphate attacks. a non-metallic product comprising of more than 90% glass with silicates and alumino-silicates of lime.

SRC can be used for the following construction purposes.

All types of residential , commercial and industrial projects
Dams and other mass concrete works
Water retaining structures
Concrete roads and flyovers
Most suitable for marine constructions
Pre-cast concrete products
Foundations and piles construction
