I am planning to construct a new house in Kerala, Cochin. Can someone advice what type of brick (Brick or Hollow Brick) I should choose for my construction considering the geographic location or any other factors like cost, availability etc. on this area ?

Additionally what are the pros and cons of hollow cement block building construction vs. traditional brick structure?
